About This Trail
Fulwood Park Walking Trail is a half-mile paved and lighted walking route in one of Tifton’s classic city parks. The trail circles through a shaded pine setting with access to playgrounds, dog parks, picnic areas, shelters, restrooms, and disc golf, making it a useful everyday walking stop for families and travelers.
The trail is short, but it fills an important role for South Georgia outdoor planning: an easy, accessible place to stretch legs, walk a dog, take children outside, or add a quick fitness loop while visiting Tifton. The park’s shade and amenities make it more comfortable than many exposed roadside paths, especially during warm weather.
Before visiting, check park hours and facility availability. Share the path with other walkers, families, pets, and park users, and bring water during hot or humid conditions.
Trail Notes
Fulwood Park is a short paved city-park walking loop with lighting, playgrounds, dog parks, and everyday park traffic. Always leave no trace, pack out everything you pack in, and if you see trash, pick it up and pack it out.
Stay on the marked trail, tell someone where you're going, pack safety and wayfinding essentials, and do not rely only on a mobile phone to find your way. Practice good trail etiquette, yield appropriately on shared-use trails, and check the trailhead kiosk, official maps, park office, visitor center, city/county website, or land manager for notices about changed routes, closures, safety information, fees, traffic, wildlife activity, and restrictions before you go.
