About This Trail
Big Creek Park Mountain Bike Trails in Roswell offer a well-known metro Atlanta riding destination with cross-country trails, freeride features, pump tracks, and connections to the Big Creek Greenway area. The park gives riders a convenient way to fit mountain biking into a local outing without driving to North Georgia’s more remote trail systems.
The trail system includes a range of experiences, from easier cross-country riding to advanced features that require skill and protective gear. Riders should pay close attention to posted signs, feature difficulty, trail direction, and open/closed status. Hikers and other park users may be nearby, especially around greenway connections and shared access areas.
Before visiting, check current trail status, especially after rain. Wear a helmet, ride within your ability, respect closed features or trails, and give other visitors plenty of space around intersections and busy areas.
Trail Notes
Big Creek Park is a mountain bike-focused trail area with cross-country trails, freeride features, pump tracks, and shared park access. Check posted signs and trail status before riding, choose features that match your skill level, and give other users plenty of space.
Always leave no trace, pack out everything you pack in, and if you see trash, pick it up and pack it out.
Stay on the marked trail, tell someone where you're going, pack safety and wayfinding essentials, and do not rely only on a mobile phone to find your way. Practice good trail etiquette, yield appropriately on shared-use trails, and check the trailhead kiosk, official maps, park office, or ranger office for notices about changed routes, closures, safety information, fees, and restrictions before you go.
