Ossabaw Island WMA
Ossabaw Island WMA includes about 9,000 acres of high ground and lies along the Atlantic Ocean south of Savannah. quota hunts for deer and feral hog and requires hunters to provide their own boat transportation to the island, accessing the island at Newell Creek dock. No access is permitted above the high tide mark unless part of quota hunts. Confirm quota selection, boat access, camping rules, licenses, hunt dates, and WMA regulations with Georgia DNR before visiting.
