Ohoopee Dunes WMA
Ohoopee Dunes Wildlife Management Area is a 9,271-acre property in Emanuel County. Hunting opportunities include deer, turkey, squirrel, and waterfowl. The WMA includes rare species and sensitive habitats associated with the Ohoopee River dune system. Facilities and activities include an interpretive hiking trail, firearm deer hunting opportunities on the North Tract, season-long archery deer hunting on the South Tract, camping at the end of Claxton Scott Way off Highway 57, boat ramp, canoe access, river fishing, and wildlife viewing. Vehicular access is limited, and no ATVs or horses are allowed. Confirm current access, licenses, seasons, and WMA regulations before visiting.
