Montezuma Bluffs WMA
Montezuma Bluffs Wildlife Management Area is a 500-acre property in Macon County. Hunting opportunities include quality buck and antlerless archery-only deer, turkey, and small game. The property also protects fossilized limestone bluffs with ancient marine shells, rare trillium, old-growth beech and magnolia, walking trails, viewing decks, wildflowers, palmettos, and moss-draped hardwoods. Vehicle access is limited to Boat Landing Road, and no camping, ATVs, or horses are allowed. Confirm current seasons, licenses, limited-access rules, sensitive habitat protections, and property-specific regulations with Georgia DNR before visiting.
