Lake Harding, also known as Bartlett's Ferry Lake, is a 5,850-acre Georgia Power reservoir on the Chattahoochee River along the Georgia-Alabama border. The Georgia side lies in Harris County, with the lake serving as a popular West Georgia destination for boating, fishing, swimming, paddling, lake homes, and weekend recreation near the Columbus area. Visitors use Georgia-side access points such as Idle Hour Park and Blanton Creek Park, and the lake is known for scenic coves, boat docks, fishing structure, and a quieter local-lake feel compared with some of Georgia's larger recreation reservoirs.
