A Cabbagetown chili cookoff, 5K, artist market, and outdoor music festival supporting neighborhood parks.

Chomp & Stomp is Atlanta's annual Cabbagetown chili cookoff, 5K run, artist market, food truck row, porch music, and outdoor music festival, with proceeds supporting Cabbagetown parks, green spaces, and community spaces.

Admission & Tickets

Admission is free. Visitors who want to eat chili need an official spoon, sold through presale locations or at the festival.

Parking

Parking is scarce in Cabbagetown. Use public transit, rideshare, scooters, the BeltLine, bike stations, or the 97 Estoria rideshare and bike-valet area on the south side of the Krog Street Tunnel.

Vendors & Food

The festival includes more than 100 chilis from amateur cooks and local restaurants, bluegrass music on multiple stages, the Romp 5K, an artist market, food vendors, water for purchase, beer and cocktails for visitors 21 and older, and volunteer-run community fundraising.

Planning Notes

Chomp & Stomp runs Saturday, November 7, 2026 from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM in Cabbagetown, with the chili portion of the festival open from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM and chili service beginning at 12:30 PM. Admission is free, but chili tasting requires an official spoon. Leave pets at home, bring your own chair if you want to sit, and plan transportation before you go because parking is scarce in Cabbagetown.
