Mountain Oaks Bed & Breakfast

Mountain Oaks Bed & Breakfast was originally built 50 years ago as a hand-hewn one-room log cabin. Now beautifully renovated, the Inn has been enlarged and is tucked away in a peaceful mountain cove with a small creek running alongside.

All rooms have queen-sized beds.

Smoking is permitted in outside area only.

Things To Do:

  • Skiing or Snowboarding at nearby Sky Valley Resort, in the winter months. Golf and tennis are also available at the Sky Valley Resort.
  • White Water Rafting down the wild and scenic Chattooga River and the Nantahala River.
  • Swimming, canoeing, and fishing at beautiful Lake Burton and Lake Rabun.
  • Hiking and picnicking in two Georgia state parks, and on the Appalachian Trail.
  • Horseback riding in area.
  • Many beautiful waterfalls are in Rabun County and surrounding areas.

Directions from Atlanta:

Take I-85 North to I-985. Continue North to Highways 365/23/441 toward Clayton and Tallulah Gorge.

Go Approximately 9 miles and take 2nd Road to left which is Tiger Connector.

At 4-way stop go straight (becomes Bridge Creek Rd.)

Continue approximately 5 1/2 miles and you will pass Cove Crest Retreat sign. Mountain Oaks B & B is first house on your left.
